This pigtail replaces the damaged or missing connector for stator and CDI, as shown below:

Stator:

Some of 1995, and 1996-2006.

• Stator Side = Male
• Harness Side = Female

CDI: 

Some of 1995, and 1996-1997

• CDI Side = 1 Male AND 1 Female Pigtail
• Harness Side = 1 Male AND 1 Female Pigtail

1998-2006

• CDI Side = Female
• Harness Side = Male

(Note: 1987 - 1994, and some of 1995 had round connectors. Need to double-check how many wires)

Male vs Female Connector: 

• If a pigtail connector has metal pins or prongs, it is a male connector.
• If it has a place to receive metal pins or prongs, it is a female connector.
• The plastic housing or case on the outside of the connector does not determine male or female.
