Test Stand Heat Cycle Engines

Here are some videos showing how we use a test stand in our shop to test engines when we do not have the Banshee frame or roller to reinstall the engine into. To see the rest of the videos in the YouTube playlist about the test stand, scroll down and click on "Watch Full List on YouTube."

Before you ask... we also provide directions to customers with an engine build showing them what type of gas to run, gas to oil mix ratio, how they need to finish breaking in their engine build and how to do a plug chop. We get the carb jetting close to where we think it will need to be. After the plug chop, we ask customers to share a picture of the plugs with us so we can recommend the best jetting for their elevation. Click here for a little more info on breaking in your Banshee engine.

About the Authors:

This article was written by Janel with plenty of help from Virgil. Videos were filmed and edited by Janel. Virgil is the Banshee mechanic, and I am the website mechanic. I do own and ride a Banshee, which helps quite a bit.

I want to make sure the technical information we put on our website is accurate and helpful. Writing and editing our webpages and articles helps me make better sense of the parts, fitment, and what goes with what.

I have a lot of draft ideas saved for blog articles and videos I hope to get posted at some point. Let me know if this page or article is helpful or if you think I need to correct something. You can send an email to info@redo-parts.com - and your comments will be passed along to me.

Thanks ~Janel 😉👌
