This clutch spring kit is recommended for slightly modified engines up to about 50 HP. Install these in an alternating pattern in pressure plate. 

• Minimize clutch slip, especially in higher gears.
• Reduce plate wear. 
• Improve power to ground. 

Alternating between stock and HD springs provides less slipping without having as heavy of a clutch lever pull compared to 6 HD springs. 

If your engine has more than 50 HP, we recommend 6 Heavy Duty springs, or a lockout clutch.

• 3 OEM Springs (lighter duty)
• 3 Aftermarket Heavy Duty Springs

Re-Do Banshee Alternative Install Tip:  If using 3 HD springs (out of 6) makes it hard to pull the clutch lever, you may want to upgrade to an ASV clutch lever. This can keep your hand from tiring out.
