Having your Banshee's crankshaft trued and welded is recommended for engine rebuilds and builds. This is recommended for both for NEW and USED crankshafts. 

When you are investing in engine work, a trued and welded crankshaft is cheap insurance. On some Banshees the crank can start to come apart or twist. This knocks the crank out of true. 

• Cranks are checked for proper width, then trued to tolerances more exact than OEM.
• The outer pin is TIG welded in place with the outer crank web. This greatly strengthens crankshaft. 
• On used cranks, we recommend the outer main bearings should also be replaced.
