The OEM Banshee ignition switch bracket is very thin and weak. When removing or reinstalling the bracket, there’s a sequence you must follow, or the bracket often bends.

When you do this out of order, the thinner OEM ignition switch bracket bends. If you are looking to restore your Banshee and keep it Factory OEM, it's hard to find these brackets because they bend so often.

The correct sequence to follow to remove the bracket is:

• Loosen the bottom 2 bolts on the handlebar clamp.
• Remove the top 2 bolts that are holding the OEM or aftermarket ignition switch bracket on.
• Remove the bracket.
• To reinstall, reverse the order.
